Antonio is the Coordinator of the AfDB Nacala Corridor Linkages Technical Assistance Project. Prior to this, he has been the Board Director (Non-Executive) at Autogas SA, Co-founder aimed to the business start-up and development. He also has been the Board Director (Non-Executive) at Sanlam Vida Mozambique SA, an insurance company subsidiary of Sanlam Group Ltd., from South African.
Sazini is the MD of Corporate Citizenship at Barclays Africa Group and Absa Group. A Harvard Business School graduate, her expertise lies in the development and execution of strategic plans linked to tackling social challenges in education, skills development and business development, focused on small enterprise development. She holds a double major degree in Sociology and Industrial Psychology, and a Master’s in Development Studies. Sazini has over 16 years’ experience working in government and civil society, including the corporate and private sector.
Sergio is the Director of ADRA – Acção para o Desenvolvimento Rural e Ambiente (Action for Rural Development and the Environment). He is a Development Cooperation Practitioner with almost 20 years’ experience in the development sector and holds a Postgraduate Degree in Development and International Cooperation and University Degree in Mathematics. He has occupied various positions specialising in strategic program planning, designing and development activities including humanitarian response
Christabel oversees the various programmes that support responsive policy development. Working across the fields of agriculture, trade and migration, she monitors how these programmes affect the lives of the poor. Christabel is instrumental in bringing the poor, the government and the private sector together, to find solutions.
Boitumelo works on programme leads, dealing with the associated administering of funds, trade and industrialisation. She works with the partners on the various programmes, controlling administration, logistics and travel, ensuring the programmes run effectively, within budget. Boitumelo enjoys meeting the beneficiaries and understanding their needs and backgrounds, so she is equipped to tell their story.
Tshepo is responsible for the procurement of services and goods that are needed to keep the operation running smoothly. He deals with suppliers to ensure the working environment is pleasant and functional for employees and visitors. Instrumental in the set-up and refurbishment of the new office, Tshepo also has experience in all aspects of office management.
Raymond ensures that the Trust is fiscally sustainable, accounting for grants and is responsible for the management of funds that come in from donors. He prepares reports for donors, as well as project managers and grant recipients. Raymond works closely with managers on the programme development, to determine realistic budgets.
Masego facilitates the vision of the Southern Africa Trust – bringing the voices of the citizens and people on the margins of political systems and the economy, to those making the decisions. The Trust has the capacity to work at grassroots level, all the way up to the heads of state – transforming citizens into active participants of their future development.
