Finance Assistant

We are seeking a Finance Assistant to help strengthen our finance function during a pivotal year of transformation. The role will work closely with our Senior Finance Officer to support essential finance projects from audit preparation to risk management and budgeting processes. |

What you will do in this role:
You will support key projects including:
- Updating our SAGE Accounting System.
- Supporting the 2024/2025 external audit.
- Fixed Asset verification.
- Preparing and processing banking and payments.
- Supporting internal and external audits and assisting in ongoing finance performance and reconciliations.
- Ensuring an effective filling and tracking system.
What we are looking for:
Matriculation certificate, a qualification in Finance, Accounting or related field (Diploma or Degree) will be an added advantage, minimum 1 year’s experience in a finance support or admin role, confidence with MS Excel, Word and knowledge of a financial systems like SAGE, a sharp eye for detail, Integrity in handling sensitive data, openness to learn, a strong team player ready to support and experience in the non-profit social justice sector will be an advantage.
