Daniel holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Finance and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Stellenbosch Business School. With over 15 years of experience working across Southern Africa and the broader African continent, he brings extensive expertise in operations, governance, and strategic leadership.

His career has spanned the private, non-profit, and international development sectors, where he has led multi-country operations across more than 20 African countries. In these roles, he has supported programmes that advance economic and social inclusion, equity, and sustainable development.

Daniel has successfully managed and facilitated large-scale grants and sub-award portfolios supporting entrepreneurship, start-ups, cross-border trade, climate action, public health, and civil society initiatives. His areas of expertise include organisational capacity development, operations coordination, procurement, grant-making, project management, and financial management. He is passionate about supporting initiatives that empower women and youth entrepreneurs, particularly in the agribusiness and trade sectors across Southern Africa
