Dr. Vibeke H. Rehfeld is a human rights lawyer specialized in international law including human rights, children’s rights, and international humanitarian law. She holds a PhD from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Dr. Vibeke H. Rehfeld currently serves as Senior Advisor in ESG & Sustainability with the Confederation of Danish Industries in Copenhagen, Denmark.

She has previously held several positions, including Project Officer at the Delegation of the European Union to South Africa (focusing on human rights, gender equality and gender-based violence) and Special Advisor at the Danish Institute for Human Rights, in the Research Department and as team leader of the Disability Team in the Equal Treatment Department. Prior, she served as a Volunteer Advisor with Save the Children’s UN Representative in New York and held positions as Attorney-at-Law and as Head of Section at the Danish Competition Authority. In addition to serving on the Southern Africa Trust Board of Trustees, Dr. Vibeke H. Rehfeld serves on the Board of Directors for Save the Children South Africa.
