Senior Executive Support Officer Role
As our Senior Executive Support Officer, you will play a pivotal role in enabling the effective functioning of the CEO Office and supporting strong governance processes. You will provide senior-level executive, coordination and governance support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Board, and the broader Management Team, ensuring high-quality information flow, follow-through and timely delivery of key outputs across The Trust.
Role Purpose
Reporting to the CEO, the Senior Executive Support Officer provides senior-level executive, governance and coordination support to the CEO, the Board, and the Management Team. The role enables effective leadership, governance and organisational coherence across the Trust’s decentralised operating model, supporting collaboration between country programmes (including Zimbabwe and Zambia) and central functions, in alignment with The Trust’s Seriti Strategy and values.
This role supports the CEO Office and governance functions, including:
- CEO and Management Team support (diary management, meeting coordination, minutes, correspondence, travel and presentations).
- Board and Board Committee support (board packs, board portal updates, meeting coordination, minutes, action tracking and follow-up).
- Organisational reporting and evidence coordination (monthly organisational status reports, evidence collation and annual report coordination support).
- Corporate governance, risk and compliance support (information governance, data protection, governance action monitoring and escalation to the CEO).
- Stakeholder and executive coordination support (briefings, logistics, documentation and follow-up for key engagements).
- Induction and organisational enablement (supporting induction of Board members, senior staff and relevant country-based staff, and alignment of registers and processes across offices)

Classification: Three year Fixed term contract (with possibility for renewal).
Remuneration: The Trust provides a competitive remuneration package.
Location: Regional office in Johannesburg, South Africa.
